CubanBest is pleased to host a very special event outside our store, Cigar Connoisseurs, 12 Water Street, in Gastown, Vancouver.
On June 20th, 21st and 22nd, from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM, we will be hosting Julio Leon, who for the past 15 years has been the Director, Blending Department of the Partagas Factory in Cuba. He was with the Romeo y Julieta Factory for 25 years prior to this.
Senior Leon will be demonstrating his skills as a master cigar roller by providing a close-up look at traditional cigar making at it's best, without the use of forms or other mechanical aids. As an executive with Partagas, he will be able to share his extensive inside knowledge of the Cuban cigar industry.

This event happily coincides with the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, which is holding free outdoor concerts outside our store as part of their Gastown Jazz program, running all day Saturday and Sunday.
To celebrate this special event, Cigar Connoisseurs / CubanBest will be offering samples of premium aged Cuban Rum to our visitors, as well as the opportunity to win special prizes courtesy of our guest of honour.
