Tribute to the captivating universe of 20,000 leagues under the seas, this limited edition expresses all the know-how of S.T. Dupont.

Published in 1870, the novel recounts the journey of three castaways captured by Captain Nemo, this mysterious inventor who travels the seabed aboard the Nautilus, submarine very ahead of the technologies of the time. Portholes, turbines, corals, fins and other tentacles of giant squid inspire this limited edition and its three ranges, all related to different chapters of the book.

A story in three stages in which to dive with passion. For the Premium range of this edition 20,000 leagues under the seas, S.T. Dupont tells two other chapters: «4000 leagues under the Pacific», chapter 18 of the book, and «Gulf Stream», chapter 19 of its second part. In the latter, Jules Verne evokes the Gulf Stream, a natural force shaping the movement of the oceans and those who are there. Fast-moving and perilous, it also allows Captain Nemo to demonstrate his excellence.

  • Your S.T. Dupont lighter does not need much maintenance. To restore its original shine, you can clean all types of coating using a soft cloth (never use solvent-based products).
For all silver-plated parts, use a special silversmith’s cloth, available commercially.
For all natural lacquer parts, do as you would for glasses lenses or jewellery. Mist up the surface and rub with a soft cloth. The lacquer is practically impregnable by acids. It is incredibly hard and resistant to impacts, scratches, friction and water.
